Diaspora Scholarship 2024-25

Did you know if you have Hungarian roots you can be eligible for a university scholarship in Hungary?

If you have Hungarian roots, there are scholarships available to study in Hungary in a broad spectrum of majors in Hungarian, in English and in German as well. Students have a global alumni group.

The scholarship posting opens on November 6, 2023 and the application deadline is January 31, 2024. You can apply here.

Hungarian Universities are excellent, however less known. In 2023, we have two Nobel prize winners who attended these universities: Ferenc Krausz in physics at Eötvös Loránd University (Hungarian: Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem, ELTE) and  Katalin Karikó, Physiology/Medicine, at the University of Szeged (Szegedi Tudományegyetem) - you may become one of her students!
