Dear friends of Slavic and Central/East European Languages, we are excited to share an excellent opportunity for teenagers to learn where they can study Slavic and Central/East European languages in college in the U.S. and how the language can fit in with their intended major! The American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages (AATSEEL) and the International Association of Teachers of Czech (IATC) invite you to a series of 2026 Virtual Open Houses designed to connect high school students, parents and community school instructors/administrators with representatives of college programs in Slavic, Central/East European languages. The languages involved are Belarusian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Estonian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Montenegrin, Polish, Romanian, Rusyn, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian and Ukrainian. The OPEN HOUSES will be held (7:00-8:30 pm ET) on the following dates: - April 14: Enhance Your College Degree with Central and East European Studies: An Overview of Opportunities
- April 23: Enhance Your Degree, Advance Your Career
