Cinema Jeti presents Réka Pigniczky's 2006 documentary Homecoming. The documentary follows the past journey of a pair of sisters who bring their father's ashes back to Hungary to fulfill his last wish: to return home to his homeland, from where he fled to the United States in 1956. 

However, the journey takes an unexpected turn when the daughters realize that they barely know anything about their father's revolutionary past. What if their father wasn't who he said he was? The film was made on the 50th anniversary of the events of 1956 and shows the investigation of the two sisters: they research in archives, interviews and fragments of memories what their father did during the revolution. As they get closer to the truth, uncovering their father's story becomes their own personal journey to understand him and the past that defined their lives
